Tell us about yourself!
Hey there, I’m Becky Allen! I’m a Wisconsin native and live outside Madison with my two kiddos, Dawson and Lainey. I love to travel, be creative, eat tacos, stay active and attend the rotating sports events of my kids.
My business, Win the Day Productions, helps others discover and grow into the best version of themselves to live the life they were called to. I love to discover how people are wired, how they process the world and how their strengths can be used to win each day as they add value to others.
How did you get into health and fitness? What did your journey look like?
I never valued health until I started dating my late husband, Daryn. As a personal trainer and wellness coach, Daryn greatly valued being active and eating well. Once a sore spot in our relationship, the gap between my unhealthy lifestyle habits and Daryn’s pristine healthy choices shortened.
As I learned to fuel and move my body it responded positively and my confidence grew. I started working out from home 3-4 days a week, removed junk food from my diet and incorporated supplements as needed. I lost 35 pounds in a year and dropped from a size 14 to a 4 and have maintained that ever since.
My lifestyle change spurred the coach in me and I’ve been helping others discover their best self through their health journey for over 10 years. I love helping others see the value of their health and all that they can accomplish with a healthy body and confidence.
After Daryn passed from a long and unexpected battle with cancer at the age of 33, I was left as a single mom of two young children. It is critical for me to take care of my mind and body to have the energy, bandwidth and stamina it takes to care for kids 24/7 as a single parent. I want to model healthy choices for my kids and have the energy to give them my very best which is deeply connected to mindful eating and staying active.

How do you encourage or educate others about living a healthy lifestyle?
I learned so much about health and fitness from Daryn. He was a literal student of the wellness industry. He loved learning and was always teaching me and others how to achieve our health goals, among many other things. I am Wellness Coach and have leaned on my community to always be learning and growing in this area. Each person is different and has different needs which is why I love coaching one on one, specific to the person. Accountability makes all the difference!
Why do you think it’s important to educate others about living a healthy lifestyle?
Energy is our most important commodity. Our daily energy is linked directly to how we fuel our body through good food, being active, great sleep, stress management and high-quality supplements. Energy is needed for us to get the most out of our days, commitments and relationships. I have a deep desire for people to win each day, 24 hours at a time and I know a key element of that is living a healthy life.
What suggestions do you have for those looking to start living a healthier life?
Keep things simple and make small changes over time. Drastic overhauls are hard to be consistent with. Start with your end goal in mind, break down a few short term projects to help you get there. Break those projects or small goals down into habits. Pick a few habits to start and add a new one into your routine each week. Be sure to surround yourself with a like-minded community for accountability and encouragement. We need people to see us in our pursuit and cheers us along the way.

What does a typical day of eating and workouts look like for you?
I work out 5 days a week at Burn Bootcamp. It’s a 45 min high-intensity interval training class, a mix of cardio and weights and every day is different. I love that I can show up and someone tells me what to do all while being encouraged and challenged. I have to show up all day long for so many others so I love that this can be a space I can take energy from for the rest of my day.
I’m always looking for the best way to fuel my body and love learning new things about nutrition. Currently, I am trying intermittent fasting and I really enjoy that. I wake up in the morning feeling so energized. I’m a busy mom on the go so meal prep and simplicity is huge for me to be set up for success. Here are some of my favorite go-to recipes!
